If you’re looking for a great place for a walk, take a drive up to Doneraile Park, situated on the the River Awbeg. It’s open all year round, entrance is free and if you’re located in Cork, it just about a forty minute northerly drive (about ten kilometres outside of Mallow). There’s plenty of space for walking, a tearoom for the hungry (open from 10:00 to 16:00 in winter and 9:00 to 18:00 in summer) and there are also deer and cattle in enclosures on the grounds.
When we visited it was still definitely winter; beautiful, watery winter.
Beautiful pics☺
Thank you
