Cats of La Palma

It’s a wonderful thing for cat lovers, the amount of beautiful cats on the island of La Palma. It seems they’re a favourite pet and there are many strays as well. There’s a woman down at the Port of Tazacote who feeds the wild furballs every day. She doesn’t speak English and I don’t speak Spanish (at the moment anyway) so I don’t really know what the deal is. I think she just feeds them out of the kindness of her good heart. There’s a whole variety of nekos there: ones that look Siamese, Russian blues, gingers, tabbies, torties, tuxedos, long-haired fancy pants…. you name it! I put together a few photos in their honour, and in the honour of Cat Lady.
