Robert’s Cove, Cork

One almost-hot, sunny day, I took a drive out southwest from Cork city to Robert’s Cove. There was a lot of seaweed washed up on the beach that day but there were spots high up that were comfy enough for sitting on the sand and getting a touch of a sun.  On the right, behind the houses is a trail that leads by a nice big field, farms, cliffs and has beautiful views over the sea and ragged shoreline. If you’re nearby, I’d definitely recommend a walk there! Here’s the Google maps link to Robert’s Cove- the drive is scenic and just about 45 minutes long. If you’ve got good weather and a penchant for delicious ice cream, stop over Dempsey’s in Minane Bridge for a cone!
