In March I went to Rishikesh in the north of India to do a 200 hour yoga teachers training course at Rishikesh Yog Peeth. I took my camera with me of course and took some time to practise some portraiture. My photography style is usually quite sneaky and un-intrusive so it was good for me to practise asking to take a person’s picture some of the time at least. Many of the people I photographed had amazingly beautiful smiles, but preferred not to smile for the photo
